14) angel/ angle / ankle:

1. angel n. 天使 

She is an ~ in her parents’ eye. = She is the apple of the eye in her parents. 她是父母眼中的寶貝

1.     access
本題key word access,可就其字型(發音)接近,與其他字意義辨別及轉成語等方面來研究:

A. access本身字義:n.接近《人 + get, have, gain + ~ to + 名詞》

a. People have an ~ to all the books in the library.人們有使用圖書館書籍的權利。

b. Microsoft won ~ to China’s lucrative market.微軟公司羸得進入中國有利可圖的市場。

c. China stakes a claim for major ~ to oil around the world.中國聲明隨時有權利進入全球的石油
市場購油。

d. With DSL it is faster to get access to the internet nowadays.目前用寬頻上網更快。

e. ~ to +:
As the chairman of the Staff, he is a man with ~ to the President. 身為幕僚長,他可以接近總統。

broadband ~ to Internet 寬頻上網 (* log on to + 網站--上網)

**access n. 另外作「一陣」解,an ~ of anger, fever一陣(= fit)憤怒,發燒

B. 轉成語:  

a. accessory n. 附屬零件accessory [Dk'sGsDr0]) n. 共犯

b. accessible a.可接近的:停車場可見到牌子寫著:Parking Only. Vans ~.限停車用,麵
(箱形)車可停。

a. assess v. 評估(事情)

正當美國各電台一窩蜂地報導這個題目時,BBC (英國電視台)卻在評估份子的爆炸案(BBC= British Broadcasting Company)

b. asset  n.資產
