33)「Fragile. Handle with Care!」(易碎品.小心輕放) 在運送物箱外面常這樣寫。fragile a. (= easily injured, broken or destroyed) 易碎的，可以指看得見或看不見之物。

~ bag袋子，~ happiness易碎的幸福。但也有人把此句印在女生的T-shirt (T 恤)上面，則意謂「請惜香憐玉！」

若指身體之虛弱或感情的脆弱，可用frail，frailty n.

Frailty, thy name is woman.  弱者你的名字是女人。-Hamlet, Shakespeare (沙翁名劇-哈姆雷特)

古體英文：thou (= you 主格)，thy /thine (=your 所有格)，thee

(= you受格) “God be with thee (yee)” 神與你同在。

= G (o) od be with yee. =Good- bye 再見(現代用語)。

Thou art my lord.你是我的主。

下列為現代英文用法：

my + noun  = mine  我的   our +noun  = ours  我們的 

your +noun = yours  你的   your +noun = yours 你(們)的                                                                  

his + noun = his    他的    their +noun = theirs 他們的                                                                

her +noun = hers   她的    its + noun = its 牠(它)的

(注意：it’s = it is它是；its= of it 它的) 另外，

*指感情上易受影響的 宜用susceptible:

As well as being riskier than normal mortgages, these loans are also more susceptible to abuse.

除了這些貸款比正常抵押更有風險外，它們也更易被濫用。

*vulnerable a. 脆弱的，易受傷害的 (that can be wounded or injured)

“Achilles’ heel” is a metaphor about a person’s weakness or vulnerable point. 阿吉利士的腳後根被比喻為人的缺點。

(Achilles is a Greek hero tragically killed in the Trojan war. 在特洛伊戰爭中喪生的希臘英雄)
