17) 英語如何表達「放心」？
請看下列句子：
《You may rest assured that
everything will be taken good care of. 》你盡可放心一切都會加以妥善照顧。
assure vt. 保証，確信。其用法為：~+人+of +事；~+ 人+that +子句。rest (=be) assured that +子句：對某事放心。rest v. 此處不作「休息」解，而作「仍然是」(continue to be)。其後可接形容詞，作主詞補語用。
rest assured + that+ 子句，含「一直被保証某事」之意。
另例：「Rest
assured, it is not
easy to gain our support- we are a tough crowd to please.」
放心；要得到我們的支持並不容易- 我們是一群挑剔的觀眾。(難以討好)
*據傳毛澤東生前曾對他欽定的傳人-華國鋒說過一句名言「你辦事，我放心」六個字，當時有美聯社(AP- Associated Press)新聞媒體將它譯成八個字︰“With you in care, I am at ease”，

【註】：ease 之形容詞為easy，常用於祈使句︰

放鬆﹗白話英語常說：Easy does it. 「放鬆就可辦成」。
*ease n. (不可數名詞) 「安逸；自在」

be (become) at ease 感舒服自在；be (feel) ill at ease = feel uneasy感不自在。
unease n. *She felt a deep sense of ~她感覺不安。
用在口令語：At ease！稍息！(Attention！立正) 。

不容易應說not
