25) continuous / continued (consecutive/ contiguous):

1. continuous  :  連續不斷的 (指數或量) (going on without interruption)

C~ rainfall contributed to a flood. 不停的降雨促成水災。

2. continued: 連續不斷的(指動作)

比較：

a.     consecutive = following in order without interruption (指順序或時間)不斷

的；常用於：數目+ ~ +名詞

* continuous a. 不間斷的 (unbroken)
