周年感言–Anniversary

諸位校友夫人、校友前輩、朋友先進：
Ladies &
Gentlemen:
五月四日是本布落格創立周年。過去一年，我們創立了兩個布落格，其一是校友會，另一為英語漫談。365天以來我們全年無休、戰戰兢兢、努力以赴。每天都排出新文章、圖片或視訊等。這些內容包括網路轉傳的文章、時事新聞，尤其是我們自己的創作、論述或譯述文章等。
May, 14 is a
day which marks anniversary of the Bloggers. One year ago we founded two Bloggers.
One is for the Alumni; the other is “Here & There in English.” (strictly for English learning). All the
year round, we have been dedicated to the service of the Alumni worldwide,
without taking a break even for a single day.
Each day we have been posting new articles, pictures, photos, pps,
videos, etc. The contents include but are not limited to forwarded articles online,
current issues, and especially some essays, translations of our own writing.
我們自豪地說我們部落格的內容是多元化；包括生活趣聞、自然風景、健康食物與保健、人生哲理、幽默小品、國內外時事評論….. 等。換言之，我們並未把內容侷限於某一特定範圍而令校友們感到單調。
We are very
proud to point out the content of our Bloggers is diversified, or rich in
varieties, including interesting stuff in life, world scenery, healthy food,
health, philosophy, funny stories and general commentary regarding current
issues, domestically or internationally….. etc.. In other words, we do not limit the content
to some specific forums or topics, which might cause Alumni to feel bored in
reading, sometimes.
迄今兩個部落格點閱人次總共超過26,000。這個數目並不太令人滿意，但持續增加，也尚可接受。從這個數目我們知道每天都有人上網看我們的部落格，不論他們在何地。此點給我們很大的鼓勵與支持，也提醒我們不能鬆懈或放棄努力。
So far the
number of people visiting our bloggers has exceeded 26,000. The number is not
quite satisfactory; however, it is increasing and acceptable. From the number, we
have also learned that each day there are indeed some visitors to our Bloggers,
wherever they might be. This renders us tremendous encouragement & support,
further reminding us not to relax or abandon our dedicated efforts.
我們知道部落格的內容尚待改進之處仍多，因此敬邀所有校友，從自己專業看人生、看天下，依其高見盡量賜稿給校友全聯會，有你們的参與，定能使本會內容更充實，並令其他人校友更加滿意。
We are aware
that the content of the Bloggers still leaves much to be desired. Therefore,
every alumnus is cordially invited to participate or get involved in the
compiling of articles, by generously providing some of his own writing based on
viewpoints from his professional. We firmly believe that your gracious involvement
will certainly enrich the content we cover in Bloggers, thus making fellow
alumni more pleased.
我們在此衷心感想所有支持我們的所有校友夫人、校友及朋友。沒有他們的支持，我們的成就即使不大，也是幾乎不可能。我們尤其感謝曾元一 (yytseng) 、許文正、許貫中 、賴東成、劉崇宏等校友。
We would like
to extend our heart-felt gratitude to all Madame of Alumni, Alumni, and dear
friends. Without their continued support, however insignificant it is, our
achievement would be hardly possible. Special thanks shall be given to Mr.
Tseng, Yuan-Yee, Mr. B.J. Hsu, Dr. Kuang-Chung Hsu, Mr. Tony Lai, & Larry
Liu, Esq. etc...
