51) feat / fate /feet (feast / fist):

1. feat [fit] n. 功績；偉業 (deed of unusual daring or skill)

a. The king’s ~ was greatly admired by his people. 國王的豐功偉業頗受人們讚賞。

b. That’s an awesome ~, and it’s one no other creature in the animal kingdom can match. 那是了不的功能，它不是其他動物可匹敵的。比較：

i. feet, 與feat 同音，feet 為foot 之複數，常見用法：

On your feet! = Stand up! 站起來。They came on foot. 他們走路來，不可用feet；take to one’s feet拔腿就跑；leap to one’s feet跳起來來；get on one’s feet自立；set foot in +地方= enter進入..

ii. fit v. (讀短母音) 適合

52) fair / fare / fear:

fare / fair  屬同音字

1. fare n.

a. *F~ you well (古英文) = Farewell = Good-bye 再見。

bid + 人 farewell  = bid farewell to + 人 = say good-bye to + 人 (向某人道別)

b. 票價 (火車、汽車、船隻、飛機)

The flight ticket fare is subject to change without notice. 機票票價隨時會調整。 subject to…(易受)…是正式用法

【比較】：

* fee [fi] n. 費用 (醫生，律師 attorney’s ~) ；入場費 (admission ~) ；* tuition 學費* rate 利率，匯(費)率

If you like better rates and lower fees, join the club.你如果喜歡較好的利率但較低的手續費用，就加入俱樂部。

2. fair n. 市集；World F~ (= Exposition) 世界博覽會

At the Ethnic Food F~ you can enjoy different kinds of food from exotic lands. (ethnic a.人種的)

fair ：

 Fair is ~  禮尚往來；unfair a. 不公平的

晴朗的 (指天氣) ；

The weather forecast for today is ~; but for late at night it is cloudy to partly cloudy with occasional rain. 今日天氣預測是晴朗；深夜則是陰，局部陰，偶雨。
