以 viv結尾的字均與生命life有關, 因其源自vivere = to live ：

Viva la France! 法國萬歲! 

1. revive vi. 甦醒 = come around = come to life = regain consciousness

He fainted and in half an hour he came around. 他暈倒，半小時後才甦醒。

2. survive vt. vi  生還 = remain alive at, 後常加某種災難或意外：

a. ~ the earthquake 地震； ~ the plague 流行疫病； ~ the disaster 大災難

沒有多少人存活下來。

b. survive vt. + 人 = live longer than + 人 “比…..長壽”

1. sense n.

a. 感覺：a ~ of humor 幽默感 He has a ~ of good humor 他有幽默感。

b.意義 ： In a ~, it is practical. 就某種意義言，它是實際的。

但，人+   make ~ of + 事 = understand 明白   (用在疑問句或否定句)

比較：Passengers are sensitive to the abrupt change of altitude. 旅客們感覺到高度

的突然改變。(be sensitive to…對…敏感)

2. sensation  n.感覺 (的動作);引起轟動的實例 a ~一件轟動的大事
