註:本句句型為部分否定。也可以用Everything that glitters is not gold.
(閃爍者未必是黃金) 其英文意義為,Do not judge a person by
appearance. 或Appearances
are deceptive. 外貌不可靠。

All roads lead to Rome. 條條大路通羅馬。(殊途同歸)
註:lead to 指導向,亦可引伸意義為促成。Hard working leads to success. 勤勉導致成功。

All is well that ends well. 凡事結局好,則全部都好。= All that ends well is well
