apply vi

a. 申請~ to + n (某單位) + for + n.

application n.申請；make an application to + n. for + n. ；向…單位申請 ~ forms 申請表格國

內有些單位，在辦理申請業務的窗口上寫著：「Application Services」；

實際上，僅用「Application」一字即可；Service 更不必加 s。

b. vt. 致力於 ~ oneself + to + n. (Ving) ：

He ~ies himself to the research 他致力於此項研究。

                          

c. 應甪於~ to + n.；塗抹 vt.
