it will be seen as a
further sign that Hollywood is hopelessly out of touch with the American people.
(如果”不同世界的戰爭”這部電影未能盡到它的義務,它會被看作是一個進一步的跡象- 好萊塢已無望地和美國人脫了節)。

2. perform vt. 演出; 作出
a. The police should ~ heir duty to be guardians of

故不必用被動

在2007年發生的死了三條人命的連環撞車,起因於一台超速的
拖曳車,接著又是煞車不當。
*clash v. n. (衝突) ;a
border ~ 邊界衝突事件

*crush v. 壓碎。
